She just as easily commands the screen as the romantic lead in The Proposal , as she does as the badass sidekick in The Heat or the crazy stalker with a penchant for crossword puzzles in All About Steve. In her latest thriller Bird Box , which is based on Josh Malerman's post-apocalyptic novel of the same name, Bullock and her two children wear a blindfold for the duration of the Netflix original. Which, honestly, sounds more intriguing than it really is. Here's a definitive ranking of 32 of her best movies to date. While not the worst of Bullock's performances, this flick comes in last because her character, Diane, is missing for most of it. After being kidnapped from a gas station, her boyfriend, played by Kiefer Sutherland, searches for her for three years. The suit lists the defendants as 'John Does 1 through ' because the pair do not know who is behind all of the ads or just how many they are. They hope though that by filing suit, they will be able to carry out discovery and subpoena the guilty parties to hold them accountable. They hope to expose the opaque 'celebrity endorsement theft' industry which they say uses stars' images or likeness online, on fake media sites, to trick consumers into signing up for monthly subscriptions to products they have 'never even heard of'. They are not necessarily targeting the products themselves but the affiliate marketers which drive customers to them. Kim Kardashian West recently filed a similar lawsuit against a company that had been using one of her selfies to promote its products online.
